Comprehensive Primary Health Care - Rolling Funding Arrangements - Extension

The Comprehensive Primary Health Care – Rolling Funding Arrangements (CPHC RFA) is a component of the Indigenous Australians’ Health Programme (IAHP). It contributes to the IAHP’s objectives by providing First Nations people with access to high quality, culturally appropriate comprehensive primary health care services tailored to the health needs and priorities of First Nations communities across Australia. The Australian Government has established four-year rolling funding arrangements with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHSs) that deliver comprehensive primary health care through CPHC RFA. This funding was provided through previous grant opportunity (GO6742). These rolling funding arrangements seek to enable greater certainty and stability for ACCHSs that deliver comprehensive primary health care, thereby strengthening the ACCH sector’s capacity to improve health outcomes for First Nations peoples.  The purpose of this current grant opportunity is to fund eligible ACCHSs to deliver comprehensive primary health care. This funding will be available over six years from 2026-27 to 2031-32. This grant opportunity extends the program and supersedes grant opportunity GO6742. As additional ACCHSs satisfy the eligibility criteria, these organisations may be considered for CPHC RFA funding under these grant opportunity guidelines. These eligible organisations may be identified and approached at any time as appropriate by the department during the six-year grant period. Aged Care Capital Assistance Program - Critical Infrastructure Projects

The purpose of this grant opportunity is to respond to immediate, known issues where the department has identified a critical and urgent need for aged care infrastructure funding in thin markets. It is a targeted, non?competitive grant, with organisations invited to apply by the department where they are identified as able to partner with the Commonwealth to address urgent infrastructure needs. Organisations will only be invited if they are registered providers, can demonstrate they are in a position to become registered prior to any grant being made, or are government providers that will make infrastructure available to a registered provider through a contractual arrangement to deliver funded aged care services. Supporting Living Organ Donors Program

Living organ donation is major surgery and carries risk for the donor. Prospective donors undergo extensive work-up testing to ensure they are physically and mentally able to donate, and these medical appointments may require donors to take time off work. If donation surgery proceeds, donors may require a significant amount of time off work to recover. The extensive work-up testing and donation surgery may require donors to travel long distances for medical appointments. The program aims to ensure that taking time off work and out-of-pocket travel and accommodation expenses are not a barrier for individuals considering donation. The program provides reimbursement of paid leave and out-of-pocket expenses associated with donation.     The program is not an incentive to donate. It is designed to help support those individuals who wish to donate but cannot afford to due to loss of income and the financial stress it would cause for them and their family. The purpose of the program is to reduce the financial stress associated with being a living organ donor, raise the profile of living organ donors and encourage employers to support employees who have chosen to donate an organ. Remote Australia Employment Service Closed Non-Competitive Grant Opportunity

The Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES) replaces the Community Development Program (CDP) and will begin in remote communities on 1 November 2025. The RAES will provide more opportunities for job seekers and service providers who live and work across more than 2,600 communities in remote Australia. It will support around 40,000 job seekers in remote Australia who are currently receiving income support payments to build their skills and address barriers to employment. It will differ from the CDP by supporting successful providers to work collaboratively with communities on projects and with job seekers to understand their needs.  Interested organisations in RAES regions (currently known as CDP regions) can apply for funding through a non-competitive grants process to deliver this new service. A RAES grant will help you provide a flexible employment service to job seekers in remote communities that supports them to upskill, find pathways to work and contribute to their community. This includes providing the skills, training and mentoring they need to take up job opportunities – which could also be those created through the Remote Jobs and Economic Development (RJED) program.
