PQQ Specialised psychological and wellbeing support services
Austin Health is seeking suitability qualified and experienced Supplier(s) to deliver specialised psychological and wellbeing support services (SPWSS) to our workforce to complement an EAP/CIR service and is pleased to invite you to respond to this PQQ. The aim of the questionnaire is to: • Identify suppliers with experience in delivering this neiche services to a large metro tertiary healthcare service • Identify the number of suitable suppliers in the Australian market • Understand the indicative costs • Understand different service models that will help develop the scope for our future ITS • Understand suppliers proposed resourcing structures for this type of project Following the evaluation of the PQQ submissions, suitable suppliers may be shortlisted and invited to respond to a formal Invitation to Supply (ITS). Wellbeing Workforce
Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing services (PYMHWS) was established in July 2025, as Victoria’s first dedicated youth public mental health service. PYMHWS operates the Parkville Youth Prevention and Recovery Centre (YPARC) located at 35 Poplar Rd Parkville Victoria, it is a voluntary, subacute, community bed based mental health and wellbeing service for young people aged 16–25. PYMHWS seeks to engage with a non-government organisation (NGO) partner to be the service provider under a services agreement for an initial three-year period to: Provide the youth wellbeing and lived experience workforce at the 20 bed YPARC. Partner with PYMHWS to tailor support and interventions to the recovery needs of each young person based on their clinical and psychosocial presentation. Work alongside PYMHWS’s clinical team under PYMHWS’s Clinical Governance Framework. Demonstrate alignment with the PYMHWS vision, mission, values and program criteria. Achieve a value for money service within the Victorian public health service by using funding appropriately and efficiently. Clinical Advisory Services Register
The TAC’s Clinical Advisory Services Register provides the TAC access and flexibility to engage highly experienced and qualified allied health and medical professionals for best-practice and specialist clinical advice across a wide range of disciplines. The register ensures the TAC is enabled to support the Make Every Day Matter Strategy by using suppliers for both internal claims advice as well as providing clinical input into strategic initiatives. Clinical Advisory Services supports the TAC’s internal claims management process by providing independent clinical reviews and advice on a referral basis. Clinical reviews are focused on ensuring that treatment is evidence informed and clinically justified. The TAC is seeking applications from individual and intermediary Suppliers capable of providing Clinical Advisory Services or Senior Clinical Advisory Services under the Register. Services include: Claims advice and Client outcomes; Business advice; and Sector Engagement. Bulk Billing Practice Incentive Program
The Bulk Billing Practice Incentive Program (BBPIP) was announced as part of the 2025-26 Budget as a component of Outcome 2: Individual Health Benefits, Program 2.1 Medical Benefits of the department’s Portfolio Budget Statements 2025-26. Practices participating in BBPIP receive an additional 12.5% incentive payment on every $1 of the MBS benefits paid from eligible services, split evenly (50/50) between the GP and the practice. Participating practices must bulk bill every eligible MBS service (Outlined at Appendix 15.3 of the Grant Opportunity Guidelines) for all their Medicare-eligible patients to receive the incentive payment. Eligible MBS services include the most common GP services such as time-tiered consultation items, health assessments, mental health treatment items, and chronic condition management items. The BBPIP incentive payment is in addition to MBS benefits paid, and MBS BBIs are paid independently of the BBPIP incentive payments. BBPIP is managed by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing (the department). Note: BBPIP registrations will not open until 1 November 2025. DRIVEN Charger Rebate Stream
Through the DRIVEN Program, the Australian Government will provide $60 million to fund the purchase and installation of EV charging units at automotive dealerships and EV repairers across Australia. The program will run over 4 years from 2024-25 to 2027-28. The program was announced as part of the Driving the Nation Fund. The objectives of the program are to: support automotive businesses selling passenger and light commercial vehicles and their role in decarbonising the automotive sector through: selling and repairing a higher proportion of EVs in response to the New Vehicle Efficiency Standard Act 2024 (Cth) increasing the scale and visibility of EV charging units throughout Australia enhancing staff and customer awareness and knowledge of EVs and charging technologies, to support uptake of EVs across Australia. support the automotive sector by: distributing appropriate funding to as many eligible businesses as possible supporting the timely deployment of charging solutions to meet the immediate needs of the sector. The intended outcomes of the program are: a supported Australian automotive sector as it transitions to selling and repairing more EVs increased uptake of EVs by providing more EV charging stations Australia wide reduced transport emissions to support achievement of Australia’s economy-wide net zero emissions target by 2050. The DRIVEN Charger Rebate Stream 2025 to 2028 will provide up to $40 million for EV charging units to dealerships and EV repairers. The intended outcomes of the DRIVEN Charger Rebate Stream are: increased number of EVs on the roads reduced upfront cost of installing EV charging units at dealerships and EV repairers distributed funding to as many eligible automotive businesses as possible across Australia. MRFF – Preventive and Public Health Research Initiative – 2026 Consumer-Led Research Grant Opportunity
The objective of this grant opportunity is to provide grants of financial assistance to support medical research and medical innovation projects that: Stream 1 (Incubator): identify health priorities, develop new approaches and/or methodologies and conduct pilot studies addressing health issues and/or barriers that: are co-led, co-produced and/or co-designed with consumers are in partnership with health services increase consumers’ understanding of, and involvement in, research. Stream 2 (Targeted Call for Research): develop and/or test scalable and sustainable approaches, in partnership with consumers, that enable self-care interventions or improve quality of life and/or survivorship care. Approaches are for individuals from one or more priority populations, who have experienced or are experiencing long-term diseases and conditions. Approaches may, where appropriate, also deliver for the individual’s families, carers and communities. Topic A: Research projects that focus on cancer Topic B: Research projects that focus on long term physical diseases and conditions other than cancer Topic C: Research projects that focus on mental health challenges, diseases or conditions. Applicants to this grant opportunity must propose research that delivers against the above objectives and those of the Preventive and Public Health Research Initiative. MRFF – Traumatic Brain Injury Mission – 2026 Traumatic Brain Injury Grant Opportunity
The Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Mission aims to enable or support research designed to improve the lives of all Australians who experience a TBI. The objective of this grant opportunity is to provide grants of financial assistance to support medical research and medical innovation projects that: Stream 1 (Priority area 2.1, Targeted Call for Research): test the efficacy and complete a process evaluation of novel treatments, clinical indicators and/or interventions for moderate to severe TBI in reducing time spent in acute care and/or improving long-term patient outcomes. Stream 2 (Priority area 2.3, Targeted Call for Research): conduct research to support effective national adoption and best practice use of clinical guidelines and protocols for mild TBI, including integration of prognostic and predictive approaches, and assessing and addressing barriers to implementation and inequalities including in all of: - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people - People affected by family, domestic and sexual violence - Older people - Rural, regional and remote populations in geographically diverse areas - Culturally and linguistically diverse populations The intended outcome of the research is to improve the health and wellbeing of Australians by: Stream 1: improving acute care and/or long term outcomes for moderate to severe TBI. Stream 2: improving uptake of and access to best practice care for people with mild TBI. Applicants to this grant opportunity must propose research that addresses one of the two Streams of research. MRFF - EPCDRI - 2025 Childhood Mental Health Research Grant Opportunity
The Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) Emerging Priorities and Consumer-Driven Research initiative aims to enable or support research that improves patient care and translation of new discoveries, and encourage collaboration between consumers and researchers. Funding from this Initiative will support the development of new diagnoses, treatments and cures, and the translation of new discoveries into clinical practice. Three topics of funding are available based on the primary focus of the research or the geographic location of the organisation undertaking the majority of the research. The objective of this grant opportunity is to: Topic A (Aim 2 of Research Plan; TCR): improving the mental health of First Nations children through research led by First Nations researchers that includes meaningful involvement of First Nations communities. Topic B (Aim 2 of Research Plan; TCR): the organisation undertaking the majority of the research is based in any area according to the Modified Monash Model locator (MM1–7). Topic C (Aim 2 of Research Plan; TCR): the organisation undertaking the majority of the research, the Chief Investigator A and 50% or more of all Chief Investigators, and all research participants are primarily based in a regional, rural or remote area according to the Modified Monash Model locator (MM2–7). Applicants to this grant opportunity must propose research that addresses one of the three Topics of research. An application may only be submitted to one of the above three Topics. Applicants must specify the Topic to which they are applying in their application.
