The Australian Government is inviting Single Mother Families Australia Inc. (SMFA) via a one-off ad hoc process to apply to deliver services under Program 2.1 Families and Communities – Families and Communities Service Improvement (FCSI) Activity – Component 2.1.4 (Sector Representation) for 7 months from 1 July 2027 to 31 January 2028. The objectives of the grant are: to build capacity within the community sector by funding eligible peak bodies and representative organisations to inform the Australian Government’s social policy support and encourage the continuous improvement of Government funded services.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Invited Organisation
    To be eligible to receive a grant you must be the invited organisation listed below and have received an invitation to apply for this grant opportunity.
  • Child Safe Eligibility
    Applicants must comply with all relevant state, territory, and Commonwealth law relating to employment or engagement of Child-Related Personnel and apply the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
  • WGEA Compliance
    You are not eligible if listed as non-compliant with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 unless compliance is attained.
