Overview
The Multilateral Placements Program (the Program) provides multilateral organisations with funding to place Australian professionals in roles across the multilateral system. It increases Australian representation in multilateral organisations and supports multilateral expertise in the Australian Government and broader Australian sectors that rely on multilateral engagement.

Details
- Eligible ApplicantsTo be eligible, you must be a multilateral organisation, defined as an internationally recognised intergovernmental organisation made up primarily of sovereign states.
- Ineligible ApplicantsIndividuals and organisations not included in the eligible criteria are not eligible to apply.
- National Redress SchemeOrganisations included on the National Redress Scheme’s list of ‘Organisations that have not joined or signified their intent to join the Scheme’ are ineligible.
- Recruitment and placement of Australian professionals in multilateral organisations
- Support for salaries, travel, and training costs
Outline capability and capacity to manage/support placements, including detailed processes.
Demonstrate how placements contribute to the multilateral system and develop officers’ expertise.
Outline policies on anticorruption, fraud, child protection, and other relevant standards.
