Eligibility Criteria

In-progress or previous Building Fund Grant
To be eligible, you must have an in-progress application for a Building Fund Grant or have previously been successful in applying for a Building Fund grant.
CCS Approved Provider
You must be a Child Care Subsidy (CCS) approved provider, or commit to obtaining provider approval under National Law and under Family Assistance Law.
Demonstrated Need
Applicants must demonstrate the need for additional establishment and/or operational funding to ensure service viability or deliver a viable new service in an area of need, particularly in regional and remote areas.
One Application Per Entity
One application is permitted per legal entity.
No Pre-commenced Activities
Any activity that has commenced and is still in progress before the application is submitted is ineligible.

•Funding will not be provided until CCS approval has been provided.
•Cannot fund activities already started before application submission.
•Cannot use funds for purchase of land, major capital works, or activities primarily the responsibility of another government.
