Overview
Under the IAS, the Agency considers grant proposals that address a need for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Proposals should be developed with the target community or group who will be impacted by the activity. Where an unmet need is identified, the Agency may directly approach organisations to negotiate delivery of an activity or service

- Invitation to ApplyTo be eligible to apply for grant funding under the Agency Collaborates guidelines you must have been invited to apply by the Agency.
- Entity TypeEligible entities include Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Corporations, companies incorporated in Australia, incorporated associations, incorporated cooperatives, Australian government bodies, and others as specified.
- Financial ViabilityApplicants must be financially viable to the Agency’s satisfaction.
- ComplianceApplicants must rectify any issues of previous non-compliance with existing Agency agreements to the satisfaction of the Agency.
- Proposals must align with IAS objectives and demonstrate community involvement.
- Activities must be culturally competent and sustainable.
Demonstrate the need for the activity and community involvement in planning and delivery.
Show understanding of the service area and commitment to Indigenous employment.
Describe resources and capability to deliver high-quality activities.
Provide evidence of intended outcomes and sustainability.
