Overview

BGIS on behalf of Melbourne Market Authority (MMA), is seeking to engage the services of a professional organisation to maintain the WI-FI Systems and assist in upgrading the network as required for a period of three (3) years at the Epping market site. There is also a requirement to provide reactive services on an as needs basis.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Existing BGIS Vendor
    Tenderers are asked if they are existing BGIS Vendors.
  • Compliance with BGIS Vendor Code of Conduct
    Tenderers and proposed employees must agree to act in accordance with the BGIS Vendor Code of Conduct.
  • Compliance with BGIS MMA Vendor Pack and Policies
    Tenderers and proposed employees must agree to comply with BGIS MMA Vendor Pack and MMA Policies and Procedures.
  • Acceptance of BGIS Tendering Conditions
    Tenderers must review, understand, and agree to follow the BGIS Tendering Conditions.
  • Contractor Management Systems and BSAFE
    Tenderers must undertake subscription to BGIS CMS (currently Avetta) and understand work order management will be processed through BSAFE.
  • IT Security Policy Compliance
    Tenderers must confirm acceptance and conformance to BGIS Vendor Security requirements.
  • Insurance Requirements
    Tenderers must provide Professional Indemnity (if relevant), Public and Products Liability Insurance of no less than A$20 million per occurrence and in aggregate, and Worker's Compensation insurance as required by law.
Deliverables
  • Delivery of LAN & WiFi planned preventative maintenance services as per scope requirements
  • Provision of reactive maintenance services per agreed labour rates
  • Monthly and annual service and asset condition reporting
  • Compliance with BGIS MMA Vendor Pack and policies
  • Participation in monthly performance and compliance meetings
  • Provision of all necessary tools, equipment, materials, and consumables
  • Continuous improvement initiatives and technological advancements implementation
Evaluation Criteria
Mandatory Criteria Compliance

Compliance with BGIS Vendor Code of Conduct, Vendor Pack, Tendering Conditions, Contractor Management Systems, IT Security, and Insurance requirements.

Certification and Accreditations

ISO certifications and other relevant accreditations.

Work Health & Safety

Staff management, Safe Work Method Statements, and safety procedures.

Company Capability

Company history, capability statement, delivery approach, experience, subcontracting plans, and referees.

Service Quality

Performance management, management systems, reporting, complaint management, and training.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Diversity programs, employee wellbeing, social engagement, supply chain diversity, and social enterprise status.

Innovation/Value-Add

Innovative offerings and value-adds proposed by the tenderer.

Modern Slavery Compliance

Acknowledgement and compliance with Modern Slavery Act 2018 (NSW) and related policies.

Sustainability

Adoption of sustainable procurement principles and environmental protection practices.

Specification and Contract Acceptance

Compliance with specification and acceptance of subcontract terms without amendment or with noted departures.

Conditions & Exclusions
  • Contract term is three years with two optional 12-month extensions at BGIS discretion
  • Fees are fixed lump sum for planned services and hourly rates for reactive services, all ex GST
  • No call outs or travel fees apply if planned greater than 24 hours
  • Contractor must provide all tools, equipment, materials, and consumables
  • Contractor must meet KPIs as per subcontract clause 15.4
  • Contractor must participate in monthly meetings with BGIS
  • No bank guarantee required for this work order
  • Governing law is Victoria, Australia
