Overview

The Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) is undertaking this Request for Information (RFI) as an information‑gathering market‑sounding exercise. The purpose of the RFI is to understand the market’s capability and experience in delivering Estimating Services, with a particular focus on Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimating Services for major road, health, rail and other major infrastructure projects. VIDA may consider the information gathered from this RFI as a basis for future opportunities to establish Panel(s), future request(s) for proposal or other approach to market.

Details

Eligibility Criteria

Construction Supplier Register (CSR) Registration
Suppliers must confirm whether they are registered on the Construction Supplier Register (CSR). If not registered, they must confirm their ability to meet mandatory Ministerial Directions within six months if required.
Ministerial Directions Compliance
If not registered on the CSR, suppliers must commit to meeting mandatory requirements under the Ministerial Directions for Public Construction in Victoria, including Occupational Health and Safety Management and Industrial Relations Management, within six months if required.

Deliverables

Submission of RFI Response Form including: confirmation of CSR registration or Ministerial Directions compliance
Details of relevant experience in road infrastructure projects (up to three projects)
Details of relevant experience in health infrastructure projects (up to three projects)
Details of relevant experience in rail or other major infrastructure projects (up to three projects)
Information on geographical locations within Victoria where estimating services can be provided
Nomination of two primary contact persons for the RFI

Evaluation Criteria

Compliance with CSR registration or Ministerial Directions

Whether the supplier is registered on the CSR or can commit to meeting Ministerial Directions requirements.

Relevant Experience in Roads

Demonstrated experience delivering estimating services on large-scale road infrastructure projects.

Relevant Experience in Health

Demonstrated experience delivering estimating services on large-scale health infrastructure projects.

Relevant Experience in Rail or Other Major Infrastructure

Demonstrated experience delivering estimating services on large-scale rail or other major infrastructure projects.

Geographical Coverage

Ability to provide estimating services across Victorian locations.
