Enquiries: Gary Wieser VicGrid Commercial system.strength.procurement@vicgrid.com.au Description: VicGrid invites potential respondents with the requisite experience, capability and capacity to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the delivery of the System Strength Stage 2A Project (Project). Please refer to the attached ‘Invitation for EOI Notice’ (Attachment 1) for details about the Project and its procurement process, including instructions for accessing the Project’s EOI Electronic Data Room (EOI EDR). Potential respondents will need to access the EOI EDR to view the Invitation for EOI documentation and to submit an EOI for the Project. NOTE: Kindly submit Appendix A and B to system.strength.procurement@vicgrid.com.au, and not through this site. Eligibility Criteria

Transmission License
A Respondent must have a Transmission License or the capability, capacity and intention to obtain one.
Registered TNSP
A Respondent must be a Registered Transmission Network Service Provider (TNSP) or have the capability, capacity and intention to become one.
Experience with SynCon Assets
A Respondent must have demonstrated capability to design, construct and operate synchronous condenser (SynCon) assets or equivalent.
Financial Capacity
A Respondent must have the ability to arrange finance sufficient to cover all private sector costs associated with the procurement process, construction of the project, and VicGrid's costs.

Deliverables

Design, delivery, and commissioning of synchronous condenser (SynCon) assets or equivalent at the Hazelwood System Strength Node
Provision of system strength services as per contract milestones
Collaboration during Development Phase to resolve technical and commercial issues and prepare Final Project Offer

Conditions & Exclusions

•Access to EOI EDR requires completion of Appendix A - EOI Q&A Facility and EDR Access Form and execution of Confidentiality Deed Poll (Appendix B)
•Respondents must comply with Data Room and Q&A Facility Terms of Access (Appendix C)
•VicGrid reserves the right to seek clarifications, refuse or withdraw access to EOI EDR, and amend procurement approach or requirements at its discretion
