Scope includes: - Extension of 3 bay motor room with 2no. 4mx4m roller doors and the 3rd bay for parking of ultralight vehicle with 2.6mx3m roller door - Turnout room with 2no. change cubicles - BA wash - New door to kitchen with ramp - Refurbishment of amenities and associated site work

Eligibility Criteria
- Contractor RegistrationThe Contractor shall be nominated to the relevant Building Surveyor as the 'Builder' for compliance with the Building Act 1993 and all relevant statutory requirements under the VPS Medium Works Contract (Short Form).
- Subcontractor ComplianceThe Contractor must ensure that selected subcontractors comply with the specification requirements and undertake all necessary investigations to confirm compliance.
- Statutory ComplianceThe Contractor is responsible for all bonds, fees, and charges related to municipal asset protection, scaffold inspections, road openings, tapping fees, service connections, and other permits required to complete the works.
Deliverables
- Alterations and additions construction works at Elmore Fire Station
- Supply and installation of epoxy floor sealer to concrete floors by nominated subcontractors
- Supply and installation of turnout hooks by nominated subcontractors
- Supply and installation of roller doors to the motor room as per Specification Vol 2 Section 15
- Provision of construction program to Principal
- Provision of Operation and Maintenance Manuals at Practical Completion
- Completion of all statutory inspections (maximum 4 inspections covered by Principal)
- Site reinstatement and protection of existing assets
- Compliance with all safety and environmental requirements

Conditions & Exclusions
- •Contractor responsible for all fees and charges beyond those paid by Principal including municipal asset protection, scaffold inspections, road opening, tapping fees, service connection and inspection fees.
- •Contractor must coordinate and arrange all statutory inspections with the Building Surveyor.
- •Only a maximum of 4 site inspections by Building Surveyor are paid by Principal; additional inspections cost Contractor.
- •Works must maintain full operational access and functionality of the fire station during construction.
- •Contractor must provide condition/dilapidation report of CFA assets prior to commencement and rectify any damage caused during works at own cost.
- •Use of hazardous materials such as asbestos or lead is prohibited; strict compliance required if such materials are encountered during demolition.
- •Contractor must comply with all Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and provide site inductions, SWMS, and first aid provisions.
- •Site must be secured when unattended and maintained in a safe and tidy manner.
- •Contractor must notify Principal and Worksafe Victoria immediately of any incidents or injuries on site.
